NAACP IMAGE AWARDS

I got an email from Dwight Fryer, fellow Memphian, 2004 Alumni of H/W, and his debut novel, LEGEND OF QUITO ROAD, has been nominated a NAACP IMAGE award in the debut category. I went to their website to see if voting had begun and saw the Marita Golden's book AFTER has been nominated in the Fiction category. Voting hasn't begun, but I think it would be good if we kept our eyes on it and voted for our HW folks. www.naacp.org.
